After 10 years in water research and setting up two labs, and having to break them down again due to lack of funding, and after diving into different disciplines, performing different types of measurements (in a lab setting and out in agricultural field), and setting up new experiments and equipment and analyses from scratch, I’ve come to the conclusion that the only way forward in water science is to collaborate worldwide on water research and therefore I propose to set up a “World Water Lab”.
